Cloud Craft

Paying a virtual visit to Cloud Craft always makes me happy. Nicole – the brains behind CC – has the most excellent taste, and her finger is definitely on the pulse when it comes to knowing what the modern hand-stitcher needs. Anyone who does my Artist Trading Card swaps and Mini-Hoop swaps will know what a wonderful range of useful stuff there is at Cloud Craft. First up there is the epic selection of 100% wool felt, in a brilliant range of colours.

A curated felt bundle called Easter Bonnet

But there’s much more than all that lovely felt – there’s the most fabulous array of goodies, carefully chosen to bring together the loveliest stitching supplies. There’s linen, Aida, Zweigart fabrics and all sorts of interesting items for you to stitch onto, along with all the threads, handy tools and notions you could need for contemporary embroidery. There’s also a brilliant range of trims, buttons and ribbons to choose from too.

I first started using Cloudcraft after seeing it on your blog, I have since ordered from them quite a few times. I especially like their 100% wool felt is beautiful to work with and so many lovely colours. The service is great and it comes with a roll of Lovehearts too!
I would love to win the threads and fabric, I can always find something to use them for.

  10. I love hand quilting big stitch style with the Perle. I would certainly make great use of it if I won! I’ve three quilts here in the queue for hand quilting….just wish I could sew faster, but the slow stitch is what I enjoy most, so I shall make like the tortoise!

Those birdie scissors *swoon* I think a pair of those have my name on them! 😍

  11. I would love to make a mini quilt and hand quilt it with the perle cotton – one of my favourite activities!

  12. Ooh gorgeous! I love Cloud Craft- already follow on Instagram and Facebook! I would love to do more hand embroideries, so this prize would be perfect! 😀

  13. What a wonderful giveaway! I would use it for the embroidery on the free-style flowers on the front of the quilt I am working on for my eldest daughter’s first baby. Perfect colours for it.

  14. Please pick me! I’ve just commented on the wrong day’s blog post so I need something to cheer me up! 🙂

  15. I’ve been trying out “big stitch” with perle cotton and recently I’ve been practicing embroidery stitches to add as surface embellishment. Would love to add to my collection of threads. Thanks for the opportunity.

  16. I would love to win the amazing prize courtesy of Cloudcraft. I would definitely use the linen and threads to keep on practicing embroidery stitches, so I guess a stitch sampler would be the way to go. Thanks for the chance to win x

  17. Ooh!….luscious Perlé cotton…..you are spoiling us, Ali. As I’m a quilter, I would would opt for a trio of colours to do some peaceful, calming hand quilting and enjoy using the Essex linen in one of my new embroidery frames bought from Cloud Craft. ❤️💛💚💙

  18. My current sewing goal is to be able to embroider more than just names so this would be amazing for me to practice.

  19. I love Perla, use it for all of my embroidered birds but it would be lovely to just do some embroidery maybe with a little stumpwork.

  20. I am currently planning some embroidered pictures for my sewing room and this lovely linen and thread would be perfect.

  21. I would love the dmc thread for a quilt I am currently planning. I know I can figure out a great project for the beautiful fabric!

  22. Ali you are definitely spoiling us all here. I had it really taken much notice of Cloudcraft until we did our mini-hoop and I was really amazed at the fabulous things they have for sale. I have signed up for their wonderful newsletter too.Wow what a prize, I am having trouble keeping my fingers and toes crossed for soooo long but it is worth it. Good luck everyone.
    Lots of love
    Dorothy xxxx🙋🏻

  23. I’d love to be lucky! I’d use the linen and perle cotton to create an embroidered backing to a patchwork baby quilt – so it would be double-sided. And the patchwork would be in the same colours as the cottons. And my niece is expecting a baby in August – so what could be a nicer gift.
