It’s over with me and Liberty Lawn…

So, the time has come to say goodbye to working with Liberty lawn… No, never! Not Ali! I hear you cry. Well it’s only in one sense – because I am so busy with other work, commissions, writing patterns and blogging, I have decided to close my shops selling Liberty fabric.

So a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me as a customer over the years – I am so sorry that I won’t be able to be there to provide for your Liberty lawn needs any more. But I will be continuing to sew with Liberty lawn, of course, and we can carry on enthusing about its wonders here on my blog, and over on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.

As a sort-of-goodbye gift, I thought I’d share all that I’ve learnt about sewing with Liberty lawn over the last few years in one handy shareable pic:

Tips for sewing with Liberty lawn

And to those of you wondering about the epic stash of Liberty lawn that I have in stock… yes, that’s right, I’m keeping it all for ME….ME…. ME…!

  1. Thanks to you I made my first quilt last year and have since finished a second and am about to start my third. Working with such lovely fabric the first time really hooked me. Good luck with all your other projects.

  2. We all try to do too much and it’s very hard to give anything up. I’m sure you will continue to be just as busy but I hope this will give you the time you need for everything else.

    1. Aww Carol, I thought of you…! I am so sorry not to be able to do that for you any more. Thanks so much for all your support over the years. Hope we can stay in touch on here and on Instagram.

  3. I think my first introduction to Liberty was from your shop, a big thank you for all you have provided over the years. Best of luck with all your current and future activities and enjoy that stash! I look forward to seeing what you will make with it in the future.

  4. This is so unfair (!) but luckily I still have a little stash from you because I only use little pieces …. good luck with everything else you’re doing.
