Happy Christmas from Very Berry!

Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement here, on Facebook and on Instragram throughout 2014, I am always so grateful for all the positivity and good thoughts – I love being part of the online crafty world! I wanted to say thanks so I’ve decided to give away my Sewing Notions Quilt to one lucky reader.

I made the quilt earlier in the year for Love Patchwork and Quilting magazine, using these lovely fabrics by Badger&Bee on Spoonflower, which won an LPQ design competition. For a while now I have had the quilt sitting in a box in my room. I don’t have space to display it and I didn’t want to sell it, partly because I was given the fabrics, and of course, I have already been paid for the design and the making.

So it seems entirely right to give it away to someone who will love and appreciate it.  Just leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning. It measures 55″ by 66″ and would make a fantastic throw for a sofa – especially in your sewing room (if you are lucky enough to have one!). For obvious reasons, unless you are willing to pay the rather expensive postage (the parcel weighs about 1.2kg if you want to work out the postage  – to the USA it would cost about $30) the giveaway is only open to people living in the UK.

The giveaway is open until midnight on Christmas Day – I will do the draw on the Boxing Day. Good luck!
