A Home for my ATCs

This is why I love ATCs so much – I have a lovely little art gallery!  Inspired by Larisa of Stitching Notes beautiful styling of her ATCs, I got myself some little mini-easels to display my cards. There are loads on Ebay if you want some of your own.

If you are taking part in the first Very Berry ATC swap of 2014, you should have your partner’s details by now – let me know if you haven’t had the email through. Because the vote for the theme was so close (just one vote in it), I decided to separate the group into 2 sections: everyone who voted for Spring, and everyone who voted for Books… I love the fact that we will have lots of variety this time. I am doing Books, and already have some ideas – I want to try something new this time, and am hoping to do a bit of printing on fabric, and then embellish with stitching – should be fun!

Meanwhile, I have more exciting things in the offing. Jess of The Elven Garden has almost finished creating a wonderful Liberty charm square quilt for Very Berry Fabrics, so the tute, and the charm squares will be coming soon… Here’s a little sneak peek of the design – gorgeous isn’t it!

I have also nearly reached 3,000 followers on Facebook, and have promised a commissioned bag giveaway when I finally make it there, so pop round if you want to be in the draw for that one.

And finally, I am very pleased to announce that I am going to be part of a blog competition with The Offset Warehouse. Can’t say too much yet, but as a hint, I suggest you get round there and have a browse of their beautiful fabrics and other goodies..!

  1. That quilt is gorgeous! such a simple design, shows the prints off really effectively. Popped over to fb and said hello! (don’t know why I haven’t before).

  2. Love your ATCs gallery! The Liberty quilt is beautiful! The design for this fabric is perfect as it displays the beauty of each print separately but yet keeps it all together.

  3. Love the display idea! A really pretty way to keep them in view. The Liberty charm quilt is gorgeous, looking forward to reading about that. Congratulations on your Facebook following, I’m afraid that’s one social media I haven’t joined.

  4. The quilt is beautiful – what a fabulous showcase for Liberty fabrics! And I love your little gallery, and am very touched to see my humble effort there!

We always love reading your comments... go ahead, say hello!
