Just popping my head round the door…

…to say hi! We’ve had a busy couple of days, with our regular Gaming Meet with some other local home educating families yesterday morning, and then the first of our Preparing to Foster course meetings last night. The fostering meeting was great, far less scary than I thought it would be (they promised no role play  –  thank goodness!), and I think it is really going to help clarify for us whether this is something we want to go on with.

I finally managed to get the sewing machine out today, for the first time in ages, and am part way through making a red linen and Liberty bag as a try out for the Mouthy Stitches swap – hopefully I will have pics to show you tomorrow. I also put together a new bundle for the shop:

Liberty Six Pack: Rocky Coast at Very Berry Fabrics

Can’t take the credit for this one – it’s entirely the work on one of my customers who used my new Build a Bundle option to put this gorgeous little selection together. The customer was definitely right on this occasion. 🙂  First person to buy this bundle gets a beautiful coordinating piece of yarn-dyed Essex linen as a little freebie…

See you tomorrow with a ‘proper’ post!

  1. Good luck with the Foster course. My friend has just completed the process and has, today, a pair of siblings to foster.
