Liberty winners and tiny Liberty hexies

Thanks to everyone who talk part in the Liberty charm pack giveaway – I was overwhelmed by the response. Mr Random has done his work, and I have the results for you.

I will be in touch with both of you by email – I really hope you enjoy using your fabrics.

I have finalised my ideas for the In the Frame Purse Swap… Because I have masses of Liberty scraps, and because I know my partner likes hexies AND Liberty, so the choice seemed obvious! I am trying out fabrics to use to complement the hexies:

Fabric choices...

I can’t decide – so I hope my partner has a favourite. The solids are Moda cross weaves – they are beautiful and the ideal weight for frame purse making I think. The hexies are just 3/4″ – I have had such fun making them this afternoon – I am not sure I am going to enjoy sewing them together quite so much.

Sorry I have been so quiet this week – I am desperately trying to finish up projects before I take some time off next week (although the hexies will be coming with me!). Thanks to everyone who keeps on visiting despite the lack of updates – I really appreciate it.

  1. I prefer the red background. The purse will look fabulous anyway, hexies and liberty fabric are an incredible combination that anyone would love.

  2. I like the middle one, because the Liberty prints are so strong I prefer a background that is more muted to show the prints off. I admire your patience!

  3. Oh wow that purse is going to be gorgeous! And the hexies look fab in any of the colour ways! The middle one is my favourite though.
