Some completed makes

I’m as busy as anything at the moment with commissions (and I said I’d never do a commission again – famous last words…). So just taking a bit of time out to record what I’ve been up to..

Mini-art wrap

A mini art wrap using Critter Community fabric by Suzy Ultman from Fabric Rehab. This is one of the commissions – it’s just the right size for an A6 pad and some pens.

Coin and card purse

Coin and card purse - reverse

A coin purse using one of my favourite fabrics (Proteas) from one of my favourite collections – Cut Out and Keep by Heather Moore for Cloud 9. It’s quite hard to get hold of now, but they have it at Eternal Maker. The yellow fabric was a swap gift from the lovely Kerry, and I think it’s from the Early Bird collection by Cosmo Cricket.

Crochet hook wrap

Crochet hook wrap

This is a crochet hook wrap. Even though I say this myself, I am very pleased by the combination of My Folklore Forest from Lecien (can’t find this anywhere now, but think I got it from M is for Make ages ago), and the pink Denyse Schmidt Square Dance (from Gone to Earth). The eagle-eyed and attentive among you might recognise the button from the stash that I inherited recently. I do think it looks lovely with the brown linen – and I’m delighted to use it to finish off a project that I’m very satisfied with.

Huge apologies for my terrible lack of comments on other folks’ blogs just now. I’ve a lot to do in the run up to Christmas… but will try harder!

  1. Hello, Love your fabric! How do you do it? You are always making things! Will have to get some tips from you on where to buy the fabric from…
Thank you for sharing your lovely makes.
