Fabric Update

Aneela Hooey’s latest collection for Moda, Little Apples – it’s very autumnal and sweet – is arriving in shops now. I’ve seen it at Hulu, and Sew Me Happy have some pre-cuts too.

Celtic Fusion Fabrics have some gorgeous new cottons and, even better for this chilly weather, lovely cords new in from Germany – they are very sweet with lots of owls (I really like that grey, blue and red combo) and other birds too – you can read more on the CFF blog.

There’s new stock of fabrics from Westfalenstoffe at Fabric Rehab – again, you can pop round to the shop blog to see more about these. I bought a lovely bundle of these from Fabric Rehab last year – they have a great Scandi-style feel, and they’re rather Christmassy too. The quality of the cotton is also lovely to work with – a winner all round. And as I write, I’ve spotted on the Fabric Rehab Facebook page that they have some fabrics from Across the Pond by Cloud 9 now in – love these.

Silent Cinema available from Ray Stitch

I love the new (to us in the UK) collection by Jenean Morrison (her designs are always so pretty) called Silent Cinema – Ray Stitch have the entire collection (from what I can tell) – Gone to Earth have some too.

If you’d like to have a chance of winning a Charm Pack (either Rooftop Garden or Modern Workshop – both from Moda), from Gone to Earth, then you need to pop round to the Rags to Bags blog before tomorrow evening to sign up.

Meanwhile M is for Make have teamed up with the beautiful Tree Fall blog to offer a bundle of my favourite fabrics of the moment – the gorgeous Just Dandy by Josephine Kimberling. You have until Tuesday 18 October to enter this one.

You just have time to take advantage of the special offer at Seamstar – there’s 10% off all Momo fabrics until the end of today. You need the code Momo10 at checkout.

Another offer where you have to get in fast – RU Craft have are offering 1 item half price with every order until midnight tonight, with the code A11132. They have an excellent sewing fabric selection which is definitely worth checking out.

Fancy Moon have started their pre-Christmas sale on Ebay – their shop sale will be starting early next week. Some fabulous bargains!

With an eye to Christmas crafting, The Fabric Loft Sunday Stash offer this week is a discount on some Robert Kaufman corduroy.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….Crafteroo magazineThere’s lots of good reasons to buy the brilliant new Crafteroo quarterly e-zine….  For the princely sum of £1.50, there are 17 brilliant, diverse, crafty projects, book reviews, app reviews, recipes, Folksy and Pinterest favourites and much more. But as well as all this, you also get a chance to win a copy of Whip Up Mini Quilts and Playful Patchwork (kindly donated by Gone to Earth) and also a chance to win this super-cute PJ pull-ons pattern from Sweet Dreams (kindly donated by Sew Me Happy). And there’s a 10% discount code for Crafteroo magazine readers from the brilliant Seamstar! You just need to pop round to the Crafteroo forum to buy a copy.

And that’s it for tonight – hope you find something to tempt you into buying or trying your luck!

  1. Thanks for this comprehensive round-up! You have must put a lot of effort into researching this lot. I follow Rags to Bags and Tree Fall so I’m going to pop round there in a mo.
I loved the look of the new Crafteroo mag so I bought and downloaded a copy – just need to find time to read it now! 🙂
