Weekly Fabric Update

Doughty’s has a Bank Holiday sale – there’s 10% off everything until 23.59 on Monday with the coupon code ‘bank’.

Seamstar also has a Bank holiday sale on – including remnant fabrics at excellent prices – here’s a direct link to the sale section.

Fabric bundle - Fabric Rehab prizeFabric Rehab has always been a good place to buy fabric – with a really great selection to choose from – but it’s just got even better. The shop has been spruced up and given a bit of a polish and shine, and it’s looking fantastic. The browsing options have been increased massively – you can now search by designer, manufacturer, collection, fabric type & colour, there are gift vouchers available (are you listening Very Berry family members?!), and best of all, there’s now a flat postal charge of only £2.00, no matter how much fabric you order. And very generously, to celebrate the relaunch, there’s a brilliant giveaway for you to take part in and win a lovely big pile of fabric like this one. You have until 8pm on Thursday to enter here on the Fabric Rehab blog.

Simply Solids Log Jam QALOver at the Simply Solid blog, Mandy is hosting the wonderfully-named (well done Hadley!) Log Jam Quilt Along (QAL). It looks like a great pattern, and I am thinking of joining in with it, to make a Christmas gift for some friends. If you do decide to join in then you can order a Jelly Roll from Simply Solids at a reduced price of £24 – Mandy explains how to claim the reduction in her blog post about the QAL.

Cotton Patch are celebrating 1,000 Facebook likers by giving away a signed copy of Kaffe Fassett’s new book – Quilts in Sweden. All you need to do is to pop round to their blog and enter your email address.

An update to the Big List of UK Fabric Shops – Ditto now has a blog – here and you can follow them on Facebook here.
