Sunday Fabric News

Just a short fabric news tonight because I’m not really here..

Focus on Fabric with Love

Wild World Fat Quarter bundle from Jenean Morrison at Fabric With LoveFabric With Love is another lovely addition to the  Big List of UK Fabric Shops…  I’m not quite sure how this one has passed me by, but am going to fix that now. Lorraine has a really lovely, well balanced selection of fabrics (at present I see Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Jenean Morrison collections like Just Wing It & It’s a Hoot, and loads more, including less expensive fabrics from Fabric Freedom). What I particularly like is the option to select lots of different fabric lengths – you can get fat quarters, long quarters, half metres and more. There’s also a selection of charm packs and layer cakes and jelly rolls, and some very good fabric bundles.

There’s a full search option if you know the fabric you need, and you can also browse by colour. Lorraine also has a well-chosen range of notions and accessories – which I always really appreciate in a fabric shop – it’s so nice when there’s a chance of getting all you need from one place – that way there’s only one set of delivery charges. You can follow Fabric With Love on Twitter, read their blog and find them on Facebook, so that you can keep up with all the latest news.

There’s a very exclusive giveaway over at The Eternal Maker where they are giving away some a Jelly Roll and Layer Cake of the Cape Ann collection from the brilliant Oliver + S – this fabric line is not even out in the US yet, let alone here! So you need to pop round to the Eternal Maker Blog and join in the excitement. The non-virtual Eternal Maker shop is holding an Oliver + S day on June 18th which sounds amazing, if you’re in the Chichester area.

If you are not signed up to the Ray Stitch newsletter then you are really missing out. There’s currently a 20% off code for newsletter readers, as well as all sorts of exciting news about the new Ray Stitch emporium that will be opening in London very soon. Exciting!

Feedsack fabrics from Fabric RehabI love the great range of 30’s style fabrics new in at Fabric Rehab. Gorgeous ditzy prints in scrumptious candy colours. These would look so fab in a great big quilt!
