A very short update today – my apologies – we had a burst pipe this afternoon so we’re in absolute chaos here today – I have come to the conclusion that the phrase ’24 hour emergency service’ actually means ‘I’m in the pub on Sundays so don’t bother ringing’. So I’m dispensing with all the usual niceties, like pictures and purple prose…
Anna Maria Horner’s Lou Lou Thi is now in stock at Backstitch. There’s yardage or a bundle and it’s lovely stuff.
M is for Make has some gorgeous new canvas weight Scandi-style fabrics called Outside Oslo Jessica Jones – it’s canvas weight – you can ead more on the M is for Make blog. Kate is threatening some giveaways too – so keep an eye out for that.
Saints and Pinners have a great giveaway of Japanese fabric – it’s open until June 19.
Ray Stitch has a gorgeous new organic cotton/bamboo multi-stripe fabric in stock. I love it, it’s perfect for summer sewing. They also have the new, very funky, bicycle-themed, Avalon organic collection from Birch – this one is very cool – it reminds me of my days in Cambridge.
Have you checked out Crafts and Quilts Heavenly Halves recently? There’s some really cool bundles here – you get 4 fabrics (2 yards in total) for around the £10-£12 mark. Another great way to buy co-ordinating fabrics.
Another great place to check out for bargains is the Norfolk Textiles Specials page – they have some lovely, good value, linen at the moment.
