Sunday Fabric News

I hope you enjoy this week’s fabric update – all the bright colours in the images make me think that maybe summer IS on the way!

There’s 10% off on all orders over £10 at Celtic Fusion Fabrics until 3 April (the end of today). You can read more about the offer and see some of the lovely new fabrics that Gwen has in stock over at the Celtic Fusion Fabrics blog – for instance, there are some very funky new mini-stacks, like this one (pictured).

There’s a very generous giveaway over at the Fabric Rehab blog. You have the opportunity to win a bundle of fat quarters of the complete Spring Street collection by Carolyn Gavin (see right). You have until 8pm on Tuesday 5 April to enter. This new collection Carolyn Gavin is really lovely – there’s a real rainbow of colours, and the designs are lovely. This is Carolyn’s blog – where you can see more of her lovely work.

Doughty’s are having a Spots and Stripes Special this weekend (nice idea for a patterned theme sale) – there’s 10% off the fabrics in their Spots and Stripes section, which includes brands such as Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett. The offer ends on Monday 4 April, so it makes sense to go and look straight away if your stash is a bit lacking in the spotty and stripy areas!

Mini hand printed fabric from The Vintage Fabric MarketThe Vintage Fabric Market has new vintage-inspired handprinted fabrics available – they are huge fun. I especially like this Mini fabric – it reminds me of my mum in the 70’s – she used to barrel round in a bright orange mini, with me and my brother clinging to the back seat! In fact, I would love some of this fabric in orange. There are also cute floral designs, seahorses, anchors and penny farthing bicycles.

Sew Me Happy has a Spring Sale going on with some great prices – including some really good value bundles – I love this gorgeous Jenean Morrison California Dreamin’ bundle in orange and aqua – but there are also fabrics from Carolyn Gavin, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Kate Spain, Cloud9, and more, on offer.

Cotton Patch logo on FacebookAnd finally, The Cotton Patch now have a Facebook page – it’s looking great, and already being frequently updated with news from this brilliant shop. It’s well worth signing up as a Liker to keep up with all the latest quilting products and fabrics.
