I’ve been playing around with hearts for a Valentine Heart swap organised by noodleBubble. I’ve been making these brooches – such fun…
And I’ve also made this pin cushion that’s turned out to be rather old-fashioned in style. I didn’t mean it to be, but it makes me wonder if I’ve been reading my collection of 70’s craft books a bit too much recently!
As always seems to happen when I’m working on swap gifts – I’ve decided not to send any of these to my swap partner, but I have something very pretty on the go for her, which I will keep as a surprise.
Weird coincidence – my swap partner lives in the USA, but when I emailed to introduce myself & check she doesn’t have any particular craft no-nos, it turns out she was born just down the road from me here in north Staffs in the UK. Rather less than six degrees of separation there!
Don’t forget to sign up for the chance to win a beautiful little girl’s dress from Hollie-in-Bloom. You’ve got until Sunday!
