I know you’re busy but…

… there’s still time to buy fabric isn’t there?

M is for Make

M is for Make have the new Anna Maria Horner Innocent Crush cotton voiles in stock now. Personally, I really fancy the Swept Away Palette bundle (see left) – it’s gorgeous.  There’s also some fantastic bargains in the their Sale – including scrummy Wild Thyme fabrics at 40% off.  There are sewing books and patterns too, so even if you’re not in the market for fabric there’s stuff that might be of interest. And while we’re on the subject of sales…

Sew Me Happy Sale

Sarah asked me to let you know that the Sew Me Happy Sale starts tomorrow – on Thurs 16 December. And if you hurry up she’ll do her very best to get parcels off to you before Christmas too – so you could get an early Christmas present…

Giveaways & Competitions

Don’t forget to sign up for our Giveaway.. The winner gets a £13 voucher to spend at The Fabric Loft, and a copy of Make Me I’m Yours – Simply Sewing.  You’ve got until midnight Sunday to sign up to be in with a chance.

Over at Simply Solids Mandy is having a giveaway to win a gorgeous layer cake of Punctuation by American Jane.   I love these designs so I’ll definitely be signing up for a chance at this one.

The Sewing Directory is having two Christmas Competitions to end all Christmas competitions… you can sign up for a chance to win a Frister Rossman Cub TL Sewing Machine and over the next few days there’ll also be a chance to win a dressmaker’s dummy – so keep your eye out for that too.

Today’s Christmas Tutorial

Another idea from the One Pearl Button blog – why not use her Stencil with Sharpie technique to create gorgeous effects on your Christmas wrapping paper and gift tags.  All you need is a doilie and a Sharpie (other pens are available….).  Of course you could also have great fun doing doilie stencils with poster paints or spray paints…
