Crochet projects

I’ve been putting the finishing touches to some crochet bits and pieces in the last couple of days.  It’s a strange selection, but I guess the upside of it is that it really gives a good impression of how versatile crochet can be.

Crochet owl - take off!

An owl ready to take off… Made with recycled yarn from The Spinsters Emporium (speakers off if you’re at work – there’s music!) using my own pattern.

Crochet Snowflakes

Snowflakes – made from my own patterns, which I will be sharing soon.

Considering I am the worst EVER finisher of projects I am feeling very pleased that I’ve got all these done and dusted. Having the Craft Fair on the horizon is certainly concentrating my mind very well.  Now I’ve got to decide whether to put these in my Folksy shop before the fair and risk that they might sell.  I am in awe of people who do lots of fairs and have to stock manage properly.

  1. Lovely snowflakes. Even I might be able to find the time to finish one of those. (Current project – 2/3 of the way through one of a pair of socks started 10 months ago!)

  2. What fun things! I love the look of Amigurumi and would like to give it a go sometime.
I look forward to the snowflake pattern – I’d love to make a few of those for the tree.
