Another Shop to Tempt You
I’m really excited that I’m getting so much interest in my list of fabric shops – I hope folks are finding it useful. I want to stress that I’m not intending to list any and every UK shop – just the ones that make the grade in at least 2 or 3 of the areas I think are important – like decent prices, good stock, good searching facilities, good customer service.
One that certainly does just that is Sewbox, the brainchild of a fellow work-at-home mum, Leah Taylor. Sewbox’s selling point is that its focus is on dressmaking fabrics and Leah has made a stunning choice of fabrics to stock (something that’s disappointingly rare). She also aims to be a one stop shop by providing all the other bits and bobs that you need when your dressmaking – matching zips, buttons, patterns, threads and more.
Sewbox has just started stocking some beautiful Liberty fabrics, that are really tempting. And if you are tempted then Sewbox blog currently has a competition to win 2 metres of Liberty fabric – so pop round and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning – I know I will be.
A Couple of Offers
Prints to Polkadots have been in touch to offer readers of Very Berry Handmade (and loyal readers of their own Prints to Polkadots blog) a very special discount. They’re currently offering a 15% discount on all orders over £15, but just for us, they’re increasing the discount to 18% – how great is that??
You just need to use the code SAVE1801 when you check out. Prints to Polkadots tell us that the offer applies to all fabrics, including sale fabrics, and is on top of any quantity discounts achieved by buying a yard or more of any one fabric. The offer ends on Monday night at midnight – so make the most of this fab opportunity.
River Fabrics are also having a 10% discount promotion at the moment, so it’s definitely a good time to go and stock up with the fantastic fabrics (still blown away the selection!) that they have in stock.
