Celebrating 3000

A while back now, I celebrated the wondrousness of having 3,000 followers over on my Very Berry Handmade Facebook page, with a custom bag giveaway. The winner chose the fabrics, all ordered from the M is for Make (with brilliant help finding coordinating fabrics from Kate), and I have finally finished the bag. It is a large and rather roomy shopper, with an internal zipped pocket, and a large slip pocket on the outside. Here it is:

Hope the lucky winner likes it…!

My plan is to write a for sale pattern for this one (like Facebook, I am desperately trying to monetise myself…!), but I am not totally happy with the design yet. I’m keen to make it easy but with lots of fun features to lift it out of the basic shopping tote league.  I also want to give people the opportunity of using loads of fabulous fabrics, whilst keeping it simple. Happy I have the latter sorted, but not sure about the former. Watch this space!
