Highlights of 2013

Hope all you out there have had a lovely Christmas (if you celebrate it) and great holidays (if you have had them). The perils of being self-employed and being ill before Christmas meant that I only managed about 36 hours off, but it was such a relaxing time I am feeling a bit more refreshed and raring to go, which is a good thing because my year looks to be full of opportunities… can’t wait to share more as the year goes on.

It is time for the traditional ‘what I did in 2013 mosaic’. I’ve been fiddling around on Flickr, selecting all my favourite makes of 2013, and discovered I finished exactly 51 things over the year – I was quite surprised about and very pleased – Almost one finish a week seems a pretty good average. Maybe I will try for 52 next year…!

I had so many favourites, it’s quite a big list…

  1. Lots of lovelies. Hope that you are well recovered now and that you did enjoy what time off you managed to get. Happy New Year to you and here’s to a great 2014.

  2. A lovely round-up of all your makes. They are very professionally finished and spur me on to do more sewing in 2014. Thank you for all your blog posts and detailed tutorials. I look forward to more of the same and am intrigued to find out about your future projects.

  3. Wow you have made so many wonderful things! My liberty lawn fabric arrived today! I better get started! Thank you!

  4. It looks great all together. Liberty fabric does look wonderful in any kind of sewing but i especially like the pink wallflower cushion and the tiny pincushion at the top . Happy New Year xx

  5. Beautiful! Love them all but especially anything with linen and liberty, and I really need to make some of those zipped pouches – they look so cute ;-)
