Weekly Fabric News

New day! I’ve decided to move my weekly fabric news posts to Monday – it was getting trickier and trickier to do them on Sundays (something to do with a large Sunday lunch?? Maybe!).

Over at Sewbox, Susan has the whole Liberty Lifestyle Bloomsbury Gardens collection in stock now. And if all these lovely fabrics aren’t temptation enough, you’d probably like to know that if you order from Sewbox during October you will be automatically entered into a draw to with a copy of the Collette Sewing Handbook, or the Mollie Makes Christmas book.

Quilter’s Cloth has an extremely well stocked Specials section at the moment with lots of fabrics on sale, and some remnants too. This nursery themed bundle of 8FQs plus 1 half metre is an absolute bargain at just £11.25!

At Simply Solids there’s 20% off Lakehouse Dry Goods fabrics – including bundles and yardage. There’s some very cute prints in this collection – I like the teacups..

One of my favourite stores, Celtic Fusion Fabrics, has a a promotion for you at the moment. With the code Octobergoodies10, you can get 12% off your purchases until 25 October. Personally I will be stocking up on these lovely solid linens – which are great value even before the offer code.

The Village Haberdashery is now stocking Quilter’s Dream wadding and a range of patterns from Green Bee. I love the look of this Amelia dress pattern, and I am wondering about giving my dressmaking skills a bit of exercise and making a wool version for winter.

Finally – I have a new bundle available at Very Berry Fabrics

Liberty Six Pack: Beautiful Ditsies at Very Berry Fabrics

Imagine how pretty these would look with some pale grey linen or cotton – a pretty cushion or pillow maybe?? Anyhow, if you order anything at all from my shop before I get up tomorrow (Tues) morning, your name will go into a draw to win a mini-bundle of fabrics of your choice.. so hop to it!
