Sunday fabric news

If you’re into vintage fabric and trims, there’s currently 30% off all sale items with the code SMILE at Spinster’s Emporium

At The Village Haberdashery, Annie is offering a very generous extra 10% off all sale fabrics with the code SALE10 until Tues 9 October. She also has Cosmos from Laura Gunn new in. I adore this bright and bold floral:

How brilliant it is to see wool felt becoming widely available – when I first started sewing again about 6 years ago, it was really difficult to get hold of. The latest shop to be stocking it is Fabric Rehab – who will have it available in the shop next week in bundles or by the metre – you  can read all about it on their blog.

Meanwhile, over at Quilt Me Happy, Tracey has some lovely looking bamboo/rayon blend felt.  The fantastically named XoticFelt comes in a lovely array of colours, and Tracey has been busy making felt roses:

Kate at M is for Make has been adding some new bundles to the shop. There’s some scrummy ones to choose from – yet again, a talented shopkeeper making brilliant combinations for us! I think my favourite is this fab little bundle called Liberty Bell:

At Simply Solids there is 15% off all orders over £20 this weekend – you just need the code OCT2012 at the checkout. This one is just until the end of today.

Fancy Moon have started putting together some brilliant themed scrap packs for your delectation. Each one contains about a metre of fabric, and you can see all the fabrics you’ll be getting too. Genius! I am very keen to make some fussy cut Christmas stockings using one of their Christmas packs: Christmas scrap pack from Fancy Moon

If you are after seasonally themed fabric bundles then you can’t do any better than Emma’s Fabric Studio – there’s one of the best selections of Christmas and Halloween bundles I’ve seen. Sweet of her to name my favourite after me ;-)

And finally (I’ve got to go and have my Sunday dinner at Grandma’s!), over at Very Berry Fabrics there is a free mini scrap pack of Liberty Lawn with any order this weekend. I have a lovely new fabric in stock too – it’s called Poppy & Honesty:

  1. Nice! The liberty bell bundle, is not only vintage but connects directly with your nostalgia receptors in the brain! I can see myself directing an old movie with clothes and furniture in those patterns…
