Lovely Courtney over at Seamstar has a brand new Offers section on the website – an excellent idea, it’s always good to be able to find your bargains all in one place! There’s currently 5 for 4 on Momo fabrics, and for all you Lotta Jansdotter fans, there’s some good Echo bargains to be had in the 4 for £12 section.

The reissuing of designers’ early collections seems to be turning into a bit of trend – we have Denyse Schmidt’s Flea Market Fancy, and Rowan have reissued Amy Butler’s Gypsy Caravan. Cotton Patch have it in stock now:

As you can see, the colours are a lot more muted than in Amy Butler’s more recent collections, but that might be all to the good for some buyers! This collection is also in stock at Gone to Earth.

The summer sale at The Village Haberdashery continues with some excellent bargains to be had. VH also has very small but gorgeous collection of new prints from the Australian designers Umbrella Prints, called Elephants Love Water. I love this beautiful bright heart print called Persimmon:

As well as these gorgeous prints (how much would I like a top made with that lime green and navy leaf print?!), there’s also a really good value wider-width linen/cotton mix, in 5 different shades.

Gwen is really spoiling us because she’s also stocking 4 shades of Robert Kaufman yarn-dyed Essex linen too. Hurrah!

Giveaways seem to be a bit thin on the ground at the moment (which is annoying because I am sure it’s time for my luck to change!), but Fiona and the girls at The Sewing Directory have come up with the goods again, giving us a chance to win a £50 (fifty pounds!) at the home of wonder that is Oakshott fabrics.

Prints to Polka dots are having a big sale, ends Wednesday:
Hundreds of yards reduced to £7 a yard
Lots of offcuts added to the site this week
15% off all Blend fabrics, including the fabulous Christmas collection – Tinsel
Many fabrics under £2 per fat quarter.
Hiya Wendy, thanks for the info, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave it. It’s a great sale, I agree, but I have taken a decision not to include Prints to Polka Dots in my fabric posts any more because of some really bad reports of their customer service. I have never had any problems myself, I hasten to add, but don’t feel I can recommend them because of that.
I had to cave in when I saw those beautiful Scandinavian fabrics… Looking forward to my order arriving in the next couple of days! Thanks for the tip!
I don’t blame you Fran – as soon as I have an excuse I will be indulging in some of those Stof fabrics myself…
Where is that wonderful button from?
