I have a fabulous giveaway for you today – courtesy of Jennifer, the founder of Stitch Me Lane Fabrics.
Jennifer is offering the readers of Very Berry the chance to win this wonderful Fat Quarter bundle of Lecien fabrics, which only arrived in her shop over the last couple of days, so we are very lucky!
These beautiful prints are from the Lecien Old and New 1930′s collection and are 100% cotton. I love these sweet shabby chic style fabrics – they’re so colourful and pretty, and Lecien fabric is such great quality. In addition, the winner will receive 2 metres of this cute spotty bias binding which will go so well with the gorgeous Lecien.
I told you it was a fab prize!
Jennifer is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee in the USA, and has been living in Britain with her English husband for the past 6 years. When she first arrived here, she found it difficult to source the prints she wanted, but she didn’t let that stand in her way and decided to open her own shop offering the unusual prints that she wanted. She started selling on Folksy 2 years ago, and has recently opened a shop on Ebay.
As if that wasn’t enough, she is now launching her own website, which is already looking fantastic. She sells lots of funky fabrics (including these great value little scrap packs), and there’s also a really useful range of haberdashery and notions too, including eco-wadding for quilters. It’s definitely worth checking out. Jennifer also teaches workshops and would love to open a bricks and mortar shop, where she lives, in north-west England. Let’s wish her lots of luck with that!
There’s a Stitch Me Lane blog, a Facebook page, and you can follow Jennifer on Twitter too – so there is plenty of ways to keep up with the store.
The Giveaway Rules
The giveaway is open to all, but overseas entrants will be responsible for paying their own postage costs.
Here are the ways you can be in with a chance of winning:
- Leave a comment on this blog post telling us what you might make with these beautiful fabrics.
- Follow Stitch Me Lane on Facebook and LEAVE ANOTHER COMMENT HERE to say that you are a follower.
- Tweet about this giveaway and LEAVE ANOTHER COMMENT HERE to tell us that you’ve tweeted.
- Blog about this giveaway and LEAVE ANOTHER COMMENT HERE to tell us that you have (and leave a link if you like).
Please remember that you will ONLY get the additional entries if you LEAVE SEPARATE COMMENTS to tell us what you’ve done. I know it seems a bit daft, but it makes it much easier when it comes to making the draw.
The giveaway will be open until 6am on Thurs 14th June, and I will announce the winner next Thursday evening.
Good luck everyone!
