There’s a great 11-themed sale over at Simply Solids. There is 11% off all orders over £11 for 11 days from the 11/11. There’s loads of new stuff in stock, including Moda pre-cuts and the gorgeous Echo by Lotta Jansdotter, so it’s well worth taking advantage of this great discount.

If you rush, you just have time to get round to Celtic Fusion Fabrics and take advantage of their 10% off offer. This sale runs until 9pm tonight, and the code is cffnov10. Gwen has been putting together lots of new mini cloth stacks to tempt us into buying!

If you are wanting to stock up on solids then you should go and check out Doughty’s – there’s 10% off solid colour fabrics until midnight Monday 14 Nov.

There’s an opportunity to win the sewing kit of your choice from Korbond over at The Sewing Directory. You just need to sign up for the competition by 6pm on Tuesday 15 Nov.

I’ve been busy updating the Big List of UK Fabric Shops with info about postage charges, payment options and more. This is more fun than it sounds because it means I get a chance to revisit some shops I haven’t looked at for a while. Whilst browsing I spotted these gorgeous Coral Tree Adventure fabric packs from The African Fabric Shop. Such gorgeous prints and such lovely colourways – I really love them.

A shop that I am sure I’ll be adding to the Big List soon is Eclectic Maker – it looks really fab. I haven’t got time to do a proper review and write up before Xmas, but in the mean time, go and take a look!

I’m always really impressed when shop owners take the time out to put together cute projects for us to use with their fabrics. Sarah at Sew Me Happy has created this ace tutorial for sewing a very sweet little coin purse – and she has very cleverly avoided the bulky-zip-corner issue that can be such a pain when making zippered purses!

Finally for today – you just have time to sign up to win a copy of the gorgeous craft book Make Hey! While the Sun Shines by Pip Lincolne. I’ll be making the draw tomorrow afternoon – so leave a comment any time before then to be in with a chance of winning.
